There were a few times i saw his personal thoughts/opinions shine through, but generally the information comes from a pragmatic lens and is mostly without personal interjections. I look forward to learning more. I only wish he didn’t take so long to release episodes as i know i will be caught up soon.

Extremely informative while being relatively concise. Brings a interesting perspective to the history of the region.
Very enjoyable and informative podcast that selects regions of Asia and follows them backwards in time. The first series focused on Arabia and the second series, in progress as of this review, focuses on Iran/Persia.
