This season goes deeper into real encounters, credible witnesses, and the explanations that never seem to stick. More firsthand accounts. Bigger moments. And more times where the official story starts to wobble.
This isn’t about believing everything. It’s about following the story until it actually makes sense… or until it gets too strange to ignore.
New season. Same curiosity. Same skepticism. ... more

I heard about this podcast on my fav podcast Stuff They Don’t Want You To Know as Paine was a guest. I appreciated his knowledge, enthusiasm, credibility & balanced approach. I decided to give his/this podcast a try & have not been disappointed! Great job man!
Season 1 was a balanced approach. I felt like I was getting informed without being sucked into sensationalism. Including Whitley Strieber’s story without questioning it was really disappointing. Maybe it is addressed again later in the season. I’ll keep listening and see.
As an avid long time fan of the UAP subject, I’ve truly heard/watched it all. But this podcast blew me away. A lot of the UAP content nowdays is just rehashing the same 3 cases over and over but this podcast is true journalism, you get to hear first hand accounts of people actively involved in disclosure and even new angles to the cases you already know. Excellent work, cannot wait for season 3!
Always easy to listen to. Interesting and highly informative. Intriguing to say the lease. Keep them coming!!!
So well done. If you’re at all interested in The Strange, you’ve got to listen. Payne was made for this.

The series explores real encounters with unknown phenomena through credible witnesses, archival material, and expert perspectives. Across episodes, topics range from UAPs and alien encounters to cattle mutilations, crop circles, Area 51 lore, and debates about what counts as proof. The approach blends investigative reporting, testimony from scientists and investigators, and thoughtful discussions about how belief, evidence, and media shape public understanding. A standout feature is high production quality and a deliberate tension between skepticism and curiosity, encouraging listeners to follow the story as it unfolds rather than accepting easy explanations.
