The Helping Friendly Podcast is an absolute gem for any Phish fan. The way you all break down shows, songs, and jams is spot on, insightful, detailed, and full of love for the music without ever being pretentious. Whether it’s diving into a classic show or unpacking a recent jam, your commentary adds depth and makes me appreciate the music even more. HF Pod is a huge gift for any Phish fan. Big thanks to the hosts for the thoughtful dissections, discussions and depth of knowledge about the band and their music. I love being able to compare my own thoughts to theirs, and I always come away with new recommendations for shows and jams to check out. Thank you!
This is my favorite podcast. I don’t have many Phish obsessed friends in my day to day life, so RJ, Meg, and Bryan feel like like-minded friends who understand my affinity for Phish’s music from the past through the present.
Keep doing what you’re doing!
Minor complaint: stop mentioning Goose in every episode please.
The folks at the HFP have been doing it longer and doing it stronger for over 10 years now. The flagship of Osiris’ stable of great content and have an natural flow and well informed reviews of the music of the world’s greatest living touring band. Your one stop for all things Phish.
This podcast is perhaps the greatest in history at making sports analogies, particularly those involving the Jordan era Bulls and obscure Major League Baseball references. For some reason, they spend a lot of time talking about some weird band. Whatever, this shiznit is awesome.
