We don't learn anything
I had to check out a podcast after seeing the first three episodes to figure out why I’m not getting what everyone else is getting from this show. I don’t buy the chemistry between Ilya and Shane. I wanted more of Scott and Kip. I agree there are some significant gaps in the plot development.
This is your show and your option is yours to share. I wouldn’t mind listening to an adverse perspective from the mainstream hype. This take however just feels like a synopsis of your personal experiences mixed with a disregard for the fact that this is an adaptation. Just felt a bit thin whereas I was looking forward to a well supported argument.
