  • 5 out of 5 Abdul El-Sayed Tik Toks

I’m finally leaving a review after watching for over a year on the heels of the news that Lindsey Gram is being “returned” to Israel. Thank you two for the podcast, it’s been keeping me sane as a Michigander during this Dante’s level 5 inferno of an election season we’re heading into. Good things are good, bad things are bad but you two are 5 Michigan hands great!

  • 5 out of 5 bangs on the debate stage podium

These hosts are two of the best in the political commentary space. It is refreshing to hear great perspectives on current events and politics in Michigan and across the country. As a Maryland we Stan Chris Van Hollen for being the lone decent rep we have while we organize for more. I’m still cracking up at Gage saying “churchslop” to describe talarico’s persona the other day. Keep up the great work! We love our THC Delta 7 compliant podcast

  • 5 stars and a climate question.

See you two continually bash centrist democrats has been really cathartic. Being a centrist in an oppressive economic system like capitalism is a non-starter for me, so I feel like I’ve found me people with this podcast. Now onto the question. Ideally, what should a socialist climate policy look like? My immediate thought goes toward combating environmental racism.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What Insurgent Left Wins Mean for Establishment Politics feat. Donavan McKinney
Q: You're running for the 5th poorest district in the country. How do you plan to help these people when you get into Congress, and how has Shri Thanedar failed them?
McKinney responds by outlining immediate accessibility to the district, opening district offices, fighting corporate influence, pushing Medicare for All, universal pre-K, and robust anti-corruption measures, while contrasting his grassroots, small-donor funding with Thanedar's self-funding and ties to corporate interests.
Defunding Israel & Stopping ICE with Aisha Farooqi
Q: How does your stance on ICE differ from your opponents?
I advocate abolishing ICE and holding involved officials accountable, arguing that reforming ICE is insufficient and that the agency itself should not exist in its current form.
Defunding Israel & Stopping ICE with Aisha Farooqi
Q: What would you say is the entire purpose of your campaign?
To fight for working families and redirect taxpayer dollars to domestic needs like infrastructure, education, and healthcare, rather than funding overseas conflicts or supporting Israel without accountability.
More Socialist Wins & the Politics of Birthright Citizenship
Q: What is the temperature toward the bills related to Israel and foreign policy within the Democratic caucus right now?
Summer Lee explains that support is growing for reevaluating foreign aid and military engagements, with many Democrats reexamining unconditional funding and expressing a desire to end atrocities and reckoning with Gaza and broader policy shifts.
Challenging Do-Nothing Democrats with Melat Kiros
Q: What would you say to voters who think foreign policy shouldn't dominate domestic campaigns, especially around Israel-Palestine?
Foreign policy connects to domestic conditions like healthcare and housing since budgets and aid reflect our moral priorities; voters deserve a candid discussion about human rights, democracy, and how our aid aligns with our values, not a sanitized version that ignores accountability.
