  • For Those Looking To Optimize Their Physical Potential

Dr. Mike Hart is a brilliant and open minded person. As we all become more aware of group think and the dangers of it it is a relief to have a doctor speak up who is more in favor of plant medicine and healing through overall wellness instead of pharmaceuticals and other short-sighted conventional treatments. Dr. Hart is one of my go to’s when seeking information on human optimization and wellness. Very excited about this podcast.

#200 Rethinking LDL and Longevity with Greg Mushen
Q: What would be the most kind of invisible thing that's happened to you during this transformation that you've gone through?
Probably the most invisible thing is trust in myself. It really changed the relationship that I have with myself, which I wasn't really expecting that to be a result.
#200 Rethinking LDL and Longevity with Greg Mushen
Q: What made you get into red light therapy?
Around 2018, I just quit the startup and I was just trying to figure out all the things that I could do to improve my health and to get that inflammation down.
#200 Rethinking LDL and Longevity with Greg Mushen
Q: What were like the biggest levers that you used to achieve that transformation at 47 years old?
I got a coach, my friend John, I had gone to a birthday party with him and our friend PJ. PJ, he's also an ex, he's 10 years older than me. And so at the time he was 57 and he is just like incredible shape. He probably looks about 20 years younger.
#196 Rethinking Protein and Recovery with Dr. Jose Antonio
Q: How much creatine do you recommend per day and does that change based on overall goals?
Typically, 5 grams a day is commonly recommended, but some believe that for brain health, 10 grams a day may be more beneficial.
#196 Rethinking Protein and Recovery with Dr. Jose Antonio
Q: Is the timing of protein intake (pre or post-workout) important?
While total protein intake matters, the timing can help distribute protein intake throughout the day even if it doesn't necessarily improve performance directly.
