When retronauts first started the show was these grumpy nerds who sneered at the games they were covering.
Gradually they got better at podcasting and also took a more thoughtful approach to retro games.
HCG seems to be stuck in that early mode of retronauts where they are smart and knowledgeable but seem to constantly think they’re better than what they’re covering.

Great show! I appreciate that they will review all sorts of games, not just the greatest hits. Really want to see a review/ranking of Jurassic Park: Trespasser. For such a weird, bad, innovative game, I feel like the HG101 crew would have a lot to say about it.

I quite enjoy this podcast, especially when they cover games with interesting narratives/worlds. I really enjoy all the hosts, but special shout out to Kate and KaL.
I would love to hear an episode on Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 or 2. That’s pretty much the only series I love that isn’t on the list so far.
