  • Basically, an advertising platform for pharmaceutical companies

Disbalanced presentation of pharmaceutical data. Guests can claim anything without critics by the creators. Seems commentators don‘t know anything about the presented trials. Best example Freedland claiming Enza Mono is better tolerated than ADT. Poor performance of Declan Murphy and Renu Eapen. Did you look at the data?

  • Patting the shark

As a pharma industry colleague we claim to be patient focussed, but do we really know how the patients on our treatments are feeling and thinking? Unless you have walked in someone else’s shoes, you really don’t know. I thought this podcast was excellent! I loved the acronym MEDS, so important for people living with a range of cancers. Thank you Tim Baker for sharing your story. I’m going to buy the book!

Augerlicious! The ProsTIC-PCF-GU Cast Global Knowledge Exchange Webinar
Q: What is the likelihood of doses being used in clinical trial sites in the UK?
I'm not aware of any global clinical trials that are going to activate shortly, that use terbium 161. We probably need some pharmaceutical industry input to really globalize this and take this to the next phase.
Journal Club #2 | TRANSLATE and Keynote-564
Q: What are your thoughts on how to select patients for adjuvant pembrolizumab after nephrectomy?
Patient selection should evolve over time, considering tumor characteristics and individual patient risk factors.
Three hot topics in testis cancer | With Christian Kollmannsberger & Ben Tran
Q: What do you think about the adjuvant chemotherapy for stage one testicular cancer?
Christian and Ben both agree that there is no role for adjuvant chemotherapy in stage one testicular cancer as a vast majority do not relapse and the focus should be on quality of life.
Three hot topics in testis cancer | With Christian Kollmannsberger & Ben Tran
Q: Has much changed in testis cancer in the last decade?
Christian noted that while not much has changed in 30 years, we are entering an era where significant changes could occur, notably with advancements in microRNA and novel therapies.
Cardio-oncology and Lions rugby | With Dr Alex Lyon
Q: Dr. Lyon, can you just tell us what is cardio-oncology and where did it all come about?
Cardio-oncology is a specialty that addresses the cardiovascular risks posed by cancer treatments, focusing on managing these risks before patients start on cancer therapies.
