  • A good starting point

I found the podcast largely interesting and balanced, but thought the last couple episodes petered out. They seemed shallower and less focused / planned. I hope you make more and continue on your intellectual/reporting journey, there’s lots of talent and care that went into this show and it still gave me plenty to think about.

  • Great information

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast and learned a lot. It’s well done and connects the dots through a century of Austin’s development, focusing on zoning on systemic policies that shaped our housing market.

  • Really informative show about Austin Growth relevant to any city

I really found this show informative. It is NOT just about Austin but an introspection about growth at the local level. It’s a really deep exploration of the problems created from this success and in a way a warning to other communities emulating the Austin growth machine dynamic. This podcast really put my experience as an Austinite over the last 3 decades into context. It’s really made me think and challenge my assumptions. Now when I think, a community feels like Austin 30 years ago, I cr... more
