  • Best pod

Cracked Racquets is a go-to for in-depth tennis analysis. The hosts break down matches with a strong understanding of strategy, player tendencies, and technical details. If you’re into the X’s and O’s of the sport—like shot selection, movement patterns, or court positioning—this podcast delivers smart, well-explained insights without being overcomplicated. Perfect for players and serious fans looking to level up their understanding.

  • Love the show

Love the college coverage. The only problem is just cause your broadcasting a matchup doesn’t mean you can’t have an opinion on who wins. I think it’s the weakest take in the business.

  • Who’s Andrew?

Not sure who Andrew is either. I plead AutoCorrect. But I can assure Mr. Kane that the the Alex & David team has many fans as they have become the Laurel & Hardy, Burns & Allen, perhaps Butch & Sundance of our time.

NCAA DI Men's Quarterfinals Recap
Q: Which matchup stood out to you the most and why?
The Texas v. Baylor sequence in the quarterfinals stood out for its dramatic swing after doubles, with Texas taking four singles wins and Baylor yielding valuable momentum, highlighting the volatility and high skill level at the top of collegiate tennis.
NCAA DI Men's Quarterfinals Recap
Q: What impressed you most here today?
Texas showed dominance in singles and overall depth, with standout performances across the lineup that underscored why they were top-ranked entering the tournament, while TCU also delivered a strong showing, particularly in doubles, making the semifinals feel earned.
05.11.26 Men's College Tennis Weekly Results ft. Chris Halioris | The Deciding Point [College Tennis]
Q: What makes the Ohio State vs. TCU matchup special and who is your pick?
TCU's balance across nine spots and their ability to pressure opponents makes them dangerous, but Ohio State's depth and Bernie's performance give them the edge in a likely tighter match; I lean toward TCU having edge at several spots, but Ohio State could pull through depending on lineup, with a close prediction around 4-3 or 4-2 in favor of the favorite.
05.11.26 Men's College Tennis Weekly Results ft. Chris Halioris | The Deciding Point [College Tennis]
Q: Who do you pick to win the Baylor-Texas showdown and why?
Texas has more routes to victory across the lineup, especially if they secure the doubles point and exploit favorable matchups at five and six; I'm leaning Texas to win 4-2.
05.11.26 Men's College Tennis Weekly Results ft. Chris Halioris | The Deciding Point [College Tennis]
Q: What are we looking forward to most in the opening matchups?
There are multiple pathways for Texas to advance, and I expect a 4-2 Longhorns result in the first match as the likely outcome given the depth and adaptability of their lineup.
