I’ve been listening to podcasts since they started, and this is one of the best I’ve heard. If you play tennis at the recreational level, you will benefit from listening to this. You will learn the value of being consistent, and the value of being opportunistic, particularly in doubles. The episodes are timeless, so if you like to play tennis, I recommend you do as I did, and go back to listen to each one. Mr. Stokke is passionate, and loves the game. Interesting informational podcast. The guests Stokke brings on are very good and bring helpful insights to all aspects of the game. The only part I find grating is that, in almost every episode, Stokke feels need to explain how he himself already does what guest is recommending. It’s borderline pathological.
As a lifelong tennis player, I wish I’d heard the advice shared on this podcast 45 years ago. There’s nothing better online. I’ve checked.
I don’t give anything- any product, and podcast, and person - five star ratings, but Baseline Intelligence earns it. I get the sense that he seems like a guy that is taking his lifetime... more
Johnathan cover aspects of tennis not covered by other coaches. Everyone covers stroke mechanics but Johnathan cover more mental issues not found elsewhere. I love it.
