This historical account is personal and yet universal. Erika tells a beautiful story. I have zero Ukraine heritage and still this journey to discover this particular ancestral line is fascinating. I can only imagine how informative and fun it would be listening if I did have that background. But this podcast is great for all who enjoy learning about history in a real and engaging way.

The way she tells her familyâs story is so detailed and beautifully narrated that you can picture everything happening as if youâre watching a movie.
