Jody Avirgan hits it out of the ballpark! I love this new podcast 😍 . I know Jody from This Day in Esoteric Political History. I had no idea he is so into sports and philosophy. Give this podcast a try. You will love it!
Though I enjoy sports (some participation but mainly as a spectator) it’s not a major focus for me. However I do love this podcast which shows the influence of sports on our whole society. Jody Avirgan brings a perspective and intelligence that makes great listening and creates fodder for thought provoking conversations. I’m a longtime listener to This Day in Esoteric Political History and am so happy to add Good Sport to my list of favorite podcasts!
i am not a jock but i love learning about the world through the lens of sports! the production is excellent and the writing feels so engaging :)
After listening to the first episode, I have high hopes of this podcast. These high hopes are based on the tremendous storytelling, exhibited, and the potential storytelling on these type of topics may have on opening peoples minds and perspective on sport and the way it is conducted and connected in our society.
I’m shocked that TED would attach its brand to such a vacuous, superficial podcast. Big miss.
