  • Highlights the difficulties nurses face (and risks to patients)

I just listened to your episode about the STEMI case and couldn’t stop thinking about how vulnerable we are as health care providers—how one shift, or a series of system failures can lead to losing our license and livelihood, even when we’re doing our best. I felt for everyone involved in that case, and I personally had not heard of EMTALA before (clinic NP here!) so I found it very educational too. 🙏🏻

  • Re: Tony Klein

Re: Tony Klein, I get it. Health care practitioners should for their own professional safety should have a chaperone present. However, this episode of trashing men went too far. Many of their male nurse-female patient comments would never have been made if roles were reversed. Oh yeah, you might want to say female do not violate vulnerables, but then how do you explain all the female teachers getting arrested for sex with underage males. Rethink your anti-male screeds.
