The only podcast of its nature. The home for Dune content on the internet as far as Iâm concerned. Few other people go as in depth and show such care for literary content when it comes to Frank Herbertâs world as these two do. Please keep making this because I will keep listening.
Not all listeners are book readers. Thank you đ
I love Dune, both the books and movies, and love the idea of a deep dive into the books. Unfortunately, whilst they seem to have adequate knowledge about the subject, they spend most of the podcast laughing at their own painfully unfunny jokes and slapping one another on the back or being completely hyperbolic about the text.
This is the best Dune podcast out there. The hostsâ hearts are in the right places and despite some pronunciation issues with names (and words), their research is excellent and their points compelling.
What prevents me from giving this five starts is its scripted and edited, and yet the sheer number of minutes given over to inane giggling is REALLY distracting.

Episodes cover everything from in-world lore like factions, technology, and historical feuds to reactions to trailers, book-club style readings, and speculative future projects. The hosts often weave behind-the-scenes production notes and research process into conversations, creating a thoughtful yet approachable guide for both new listeners and long-time fans. A standout trait is the duo's ability to balance dense lore with accessible commentary, frequent humor, and strong chemistry, making long-form discussions feel engaging rather than intimidati... more
