I keep listening over and over again
It is so great please make a season 3 I would love to see what happens next with Andy and Iris Tharro. Make a season 3 where we see their relationship grow and the mysteries and adventures grow.
A female detective investigates crime on behalf of the Gods, who now walk among mortals. Tricky stuff, complicated by baggage in the form of a son of a Goddess. Taking a time honored genre and anchoring it in a new milieu is risky but this podcast pulls it off, honoring the traditions of the genre while incorporating new elements that make it seem fresh and new. Highly recommended.
One of my favorite podcasts. If you like fantasy, it’s definitely worth a listen.
The themes of power and accountability are addressed here as a mortal and demigod take on gods and goddesses who can do as they please with their powers and escape consequences for their actions. We don't have to look very far afield to see that those with power in the US are rarely brought to justice or held accountable for crimes. The voice actors are great and the writing was fantastic. I was in after listening to the first episode. I'm grateful there is a season two!
This may or may not be a good podcast, but I'll never know. I abaondoned it after too many mid stream interuption that broke the flow of the narrative.
Great podcast with a story that has really sucked me in, despite this not being a genre I generally am into. Only annoying part is the woman who the voice actor for Iris, does this absolutely horrible fake "man" voice when she's doing the voice for Andy. She's an excellent voice actor for Iris, but every time she switches over to a man's voice, it takes me right out of the show.
I'm supposed to be working but I got so caught up in this story that I've hardly done a thing all day
I loved this so much. The excitement and character development along the way. Incorporating mystery and crime into the fantasy world was such a great idea. The voices and sounds made it seem like you’re right there. I could listen to 75 seasons of this and would love if it were developed into a streaming series, I hope it keeps going
Another awesome story line and great characters. What a great series!
excellent stuff and very entertaining
Honestly, one of realm’s best shows. They take full advantage of exploring the world that they introduce and they leave nothing to be desired when it comes to sound design. Even the voice actors saying the other MC’s lines as the POV changes takes little from the show. Honestly, I think it’s a really great way to change perspective.
The gods and creatures are all very well written. I can’t think of a point where the writing pulled me out of the story.
I hope the creative team are proud of them... more
This podcast deserves way more love than it gets. The story is engaging and fun, the voice actors are sharp and emotive (with no annoying vocal habits), the ambient sounds are done particularly well, and the world they’ve crafted here is fantastic, fascinating, and fully-realized. This deserves an Amazon Prime series, but barring that I cannot wait for season three!
Excellent voices, engaging story, weird but fun. Can it get any better?
