Give Me Away

Gideon Media

From the writer of The Message, Life/After, and Steal the Stars. They call the crashed spaceship “The Ghosthouse” because it screams—the screams of thousands of extraterrestrial political prisoners trapped in its horrific mainframe. The only way to free them... is to transfer them into humans willing to share their minds with a second consciousness forever. Who would volunteer for that?

  • I cannot BELIEVE I just heard about this show. It was fantastic! I'm not typically drawn to sci-fi stories but this isn't an out-there space fantasy. This is a look at how we as humans react to discovering that, not only are we not alone, but our new neighbors desperately need our help. more

  • Death by wokeness

Yet again a decent podcast is killed by its woke creators. This show literally turns into — “what pronouns should we use when talking about the people with alien consciousnesses residing in their brains,? We don’t want to be insensitive.” I’m not even making that up that it the entire plot of episode two. It’s like - just write a good story, stop shoving this nonsense down our throats we’re sick of it!

  • Give Me Away is a tremendous new work of cinematic Audio Fiction from Gideon Media. As he's shown before with Steal the Stars and LifeAfter, Mac Rogers has an innate ability to explore complex science fiction concepts with incredibly accessible and well written characters. From a pacing perspective there's a lot going on in the story, but it never feels like too much. I was fully invested before the end of the first episode. The quality of this Audio Drama is right up there with anything else be... more
