Ghosts on a Train is the first podcast I’ve been fully invested in, and I’ve been trying to find one for years. I’ve gotten through 20 episodes so far, and I love the balance between a bunch of silly shenanigans and sometimes getting hit with really intense and emotional scenes. I think the character development of Pippin, Andrel, and Drix is crazy, and I really admire everyone in the podcast for giving the show as much personality as it has. This is definitely my comfort podcast now, and I woul... more
I really love this podcast: the main trio is interesting and it's great to see their relationships change over time, they all grow so much! As the story progresses, the complicated background becomes clearer and they become more involved in things they shouldn't. It's fun (fighting ghosts on a train, truly the definition of fun), sometimes scary and it always feels emotionally honest - this is not an utopia and living in it isn't very easy. But honestly, who is going to make the world a better p... more
I’m (slowly, 26 episodes in) making my way through the back catalog of Ghosts on a Train (a roleplaying game written by John Harper) and I absolutely love it. It’s amazing that a four-page RPG can hold so much entertainment!
Hannah, Stefan, and Guy are amazing as their characters Andrel Anderson (badge name Dunvil), Adric AKA Drix (badge name Coleburn), and Pippin “Pip” McKeal (badge name McKeal). These three wacky kids have ALL THE ADVENTURES whether they’re protecting the train as Line Bull... more
Ghosts on a train is so good. It’s absolutely a delight to hear these folks develop their world and story; it just keeps getting better and better. The narration and npcs from GM Greg are phenomenal. The character development and comedy from the three players are top notch. There are some of the best guest star concepts I’ve ever heard of. The show is dramatic, silly, heartwarming, genius, and has 100% drawn me in! Signed, your friendly gleewatch fan & unicyclist
