  • Gone off the boil a bit

Revisited this for the first time in a while, and the chemistry seems to have dried up a bit with the guys clearly having more complex life commitments like children to juggle. There are a lot of overly long pauses and tired sighs. Leader has taken his reticence to criticise a creation/creator to new lengths, sometimes not acknowledging Cunningham’s comments at all other than a “hmm” five seconds later. And Cunningham’s enthusiasm for the genre seems a lot lessened. Anyway, still worth a listen,... more

  • Not bad, but not particularly informative

As others have said, nice chaps, but I don’t find this particularly informative. The ‘initial thoughts’ of Earwig episode was the last straw for me… clearly this is a film well below the standard you’d expect for such an amazing studio… but the hosts just talk about how interesting it is… suggests they are more interested in keeping in favour with their contacts that providing an honest review.
