The color is named after the liquor. There are two types. There is yellow chartreuse which leans more golden yellow with a green tint. Green chartreuse is more bright, neon, similar Brat green. They’re so good at this because they do research and are highly educated on the topics they’re talking about, but also so enthusiastic and funny, AND still being really good at listening to and talking to everyone they’re interviewing. However, there are WAY too many episodes for me to stay up to date on this podcast.
I used to be a long time fan, but then something switched after I read the article. I dug deeper and I could no longer see JVN in the same way. I then took a break, and a few months ago I was recommended a gym photo of theirs. It was very disturbing to me how far down the ED and weight loss rabbit hole they have gone. Along with the rebrand to getting better, it just doesn’t feel like the same curious Jonathan who was interested in gay sailors, knitting, and mideval history. I am very disappoint... more
