  • Great films, great company!

Started this show a couple of weeks ago and have almost caught up to where they are now! Excellent background banter about a lot of films I’ve always loved, as well as discovering a few new gems along the way. There’s some great Hammer and Amicus historical deep dive podcasts out there, and if those shows are The Pentangle, then this show is The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. Enjoy!!!

  • Smoke-Stained Celluloid and Charming Chatter

A thoroughly enjoyable podcast packed with fascinating trivia and a genuine affection for the cigarette-stained charm of 1960s and 70s British cinema—regardless of quality. All rounded off with the most delightfully banal chatter.

  • First rate drivel

Found this quite a way back and binged what was available and have been loving it popping up in my feed ever since. I’m a similar age to the Witchfinder’s and love the hr and a half of random drivel that is tenuously linked to a token horror production each pod. Maybe thin out the horror content though as it gets in the way of the good stuff.

Definitely in favour of some vintage, creepy British kids tv folk horror being thrown in the mix in the future…
