  • Just helping to heal my inner child, no big deal

I don’t have kids (or even any kids in my life at the moment)—but i think Gender Playground is for everyone! Every episode left me feeling grounded and curious/compassionate towards my own and others’ experiences. I love this project, can’t wait for season 2.

  • Great podcast

This would have helped me so much when I was younger and I intend to have my father listen to this cause I tried to explain nonbinary to him and it was difficult to get him to accept it existing

  • Kind, generous, needed!

I have not encountered much other media that discusses the complexity of trying to make gender-affirming decisions as a parent / caregiver, and I think this podcast really addresses a gap. Marcelle and Raimi are vulnerable, honest, and also just so kind and generous (with each other and their audience) in the way they approach these conversations. I’d recommend to anyone who is curious to think more about gender, no matter where they are at with their learning!

  • Therapist/Ally Appreciation

As a licensed clinical social worker, I provide mental health services to many LGBTQIA2+ kids, adults, and families. In addition to being a queer cis woman myself, many of my closest friends are trans and nonbinary. From both personal and professional perspectives, I cannot endorse and appreciate this show enough. I look forward to recommending it to everyone I know, and especially to parents and care-givers of gender-expansive young people. Thank you for creating this resource. It is truly inv... more
