In this episode of Gearing Up we’re talking about everything I think we will see in the EDC world in 2024. This might be more of a wish list, but we definitely talk predictions.

I like the host but it feels like I am listening to an extended commercial for gear producers instead of learning about things that improve my edc game which is what I came for.
Gearing Up is good podcast about every day carry (EDC), EDC trends, and interviews with makers/content creators. The host’s style is like hanging with a friend telling you about some gear he is into. I really like the fact this is more about personal interest than a blanket topic podcast. You can tell the amount of love GTDUNN has for his topics of the episode. Keep up the good work.
Greg does a great job of fusing in-depth interviews with EDC makers that helps glean an insight into what brought them to present day with current trends and thoughts in the EDC world. Loving the podcast ever since I discovered it!
With new people in power expect small businesses to suffer and people to have less income to spend on such things. These people aren’t known to be friendly to innovators and small businesses. So good luck to all of us for the next for years, it’s going to be rough!
Growing up in church, there was always someone to greet you at the doors. This is how I feel when I come into the EDC community with Gearing Up. I feel so welcomed and informed. I have been into knives for a year now, but I had never gotten into the community until I came across some who have created a platform in which they share. Amongst hearing about the daily life of an EDC community member, I have learned the ways of the community and I feel a part of this community. Thank you!
Greg and April are both awesome, maker series is where it’s at 🤜🏼
Greg is just an all around great dude, first off. His show though, really is something I feel like the community it’s based around has been missing for a long time. It’s communal, familial, insightful and informative. Aside from the gear community, it also gives a peak behind the curtain of his family life and delves into so much more. From gear to photography, family and life in general and more there plenty of ear candy for anyone
Greg is awesome to listen to and I really enjoy these pods. Must listen for any EDC fan!

Just an all-around great show. Tons of good interviews and lots of gear talk. Easily one of my favorite podcasts, and by far my favorite EDC one.
I started listen to the podcast a month before the virus really hit. It was something I found interesting and loved seeing you find your way with the format. I love the guest you have on, the maker spot lights are great. The everyday commute episodes are also a nice touch. It great getting your opinion on a trend of the month or sprint runs... I really enjoy listening to the show and following your Instagram account for all the killer photos. I enjoy the opportunities to be active with the impro... more
Being new to the EDC culture this podcast is great for so many reasons! Learning so much, my only gripe is I wish it was longer haha but no worries keep up the excellent work always look forward to the next episode.
Loved this podcast already, but the recent features on Black voices in the community and Pride content helped me find some new ways to connect to the EDC world and align my carry with my ideals.
I’ve been into edc for quite some time now, and I think Greg and his wife do for podcasts about edc what Taylor Martin did for YouTube and edc. They have good perspective and I’ve learned new things that have upped my game, either in looking for new gear or selling old stuff. Thanks you two!
From someone who is actually in the community. Awesome and funny content. Been really liking the new #everydaycommute episodes too!
New to the podcast world, looking for more info and to be more connected with the EDC community. The episode I started with was perfect for me! Subject: Secondary EDC Market. Having some items myself that I am thinking about putting up for sale, and also having just made my first purchase on the secondary market (coincidentally from GTDunn himself).
Infrormative, casual, entertaining!
