As a long time Star Trek fan, this was something that I was going to check out. Ms. McFadden is a very insight interviewer and asks a lot of interesting and thought provoking questions. A lot of the interview subjects are people she is familiar with, which gives an instant rapport but she makes the most of it by asking very acute and meaningful questions. more
Having recently enjoying listening to more and more excellent podcasts elsewhere involving Star Trek’s wonderful nobility, Gates’s podcast touches even more areas that I have not heard before. more
Gates is a skilled and interesting Interviewer. As a 50+ years Trekkie, I thought I had heard itall but Gates brings out a new side to every guest. Highly reccomend!
Gates has had manning callings but wow… such a great interviewer! Amazing to hear such personal stories and insights from her friends/cast mates. The Kate Mulgrew episode is particularly captivating, but honestly all the interviews thus far have been amazing and I’m looking forward to more!
Warm, insightful, full of overflowing love between friends which just makes my heart glow. I’ve wanted to be Beverly Crusher since I was eleven years old so this opportunity to ‘hang out’ with Gates and the other cast members is just so wonderful. Also, can we get merch with ‘space cadet’ on?!
