「お布施＝お金や物を渡すこと」と思われがちですが、仏教でいう**布施（ふせ）**はもっと広く深い実践を指します。今週は、用語を正しつつ、日常で生かせる形にまとめます。
🔶布施の本来の意味
布施はサンスクリット語 dāna（ダーナ） の意訳で、「自分の持ち物や能力・心を惜しみなく分かち合い、互いに助け合い喜び合うこと」を意味します。見返りや取引ではなく、純粋な贈与の心が要です。

浄土真宗の教えが全国へ広がる過程で、大きな役割を果たしたのが「手紙」でした。室町期に本願寺の宗主・蓮如上人（れんにょ しょうにん）が人びとに向けて書き送った文書は、のちに『御文章（ごぶんしょう）』として編纂され、真宗大谷派（東本願寺）では『御文（おふみ）』とも呼ばれます。ここでは、その要点をやさしく整理します。
