問：「一個人受重戒後，他又嚴重的破戒。因為他現在影響面很大，所以我告訴他在佛前發露懺悔，而不要在大眾前發露，以免影響大眾信心，請問這樣做對還是錯？」
答：這個作法可以。能在大眾之下發露懺悔也是很好；不在大眾之前，在佛菩薩形像面前發露懺悔也可以。但是發露懺悔之後，最重要的是「後不再造」，這才叫真正懺悔；如果發露懺悔之後，明天還再做，你就完全錯了。懺悔著重在後不再造，果然自己明白了，後不再造，不發露也是真正懺悔，你真的改過自新。著重在實質，不著重在形式，形式上發露懺... more

問：「一人在某一個道場辦了皈依，請問是否就屬於這一個道場的人，一切按這個道場的吩咐辦事？」
答：不一定。皈依是發願正式做佛的學生，依照佛的教誨奉行，就是學習。就好像我們入學校，正式報名註冊當學生，沒有皈依，那是旁聽生，皈依才是正式的學生。至於皈依之後，也不一定在自己皈依的道場學習，你可以選擇道場，可以多在道場參訪，哪一個道場對自己適合，你就可以依止那個道場。
