The hosts bring refreshing heartfelt perspectives to little known international disasters e.g. campsite at Los Alfaques, mysteries and folklore. Their shared humour glide through solemn cold cases and bizarre intriguing historical incidents e.g. Rabbit attacks on Napoleon, fiasco in 1896 Olympic marathon — I haven’t had belly laughs from a podcast for a while. Also, great taste in movies e.g. Brotherhood of the Wolves, Dog Soldiers. p.s. Spanish crime thriller “El Cuerpo” is good! Great podcast,... more
found this podcast somewhere back in 2020. I binged it and life happened and I stopped listening for a while. I’m back now and can’t stop listening! I stand by what I said in my last review: “Annie and Johanna have such a great flow and I could listen to them all day! They’re so well-researched and well-spoken. Lots of unique stories you don’t hear as often or at all. 10/10 🩵”
What a macabre delight to find this podcast! Thank you to the two hosts whose high-caliber research and writing create such compelling listening. I also thoroughly enjoy the hosts themselves, who are the palette cleanser to the subject matter.
this is a wonderful wonderful pod. The hosts are genuine and funny without being overly chatty. The cases are mostly unknown and engrossing. They are kind and do their research well.
I love this podcast, the hosts are so real and so sympathetic. They cover a range of interesting topics and are so relatable. And they also love animals, doesn’t get better!
