  • A “KING” among podcasts!

I was looking around for shows to do with the bands that I love and discovered this show. Ryan & Avery are a great duo discussing the incredible output of a band who in a lot of ways defy genre definition! Are they a Prog band? Yes, but also jazz and rock, along with elements of ambient, punk, reggae, and any other style that they naturally go towards. The only genre here is King Crimson, with Ryan and Avery telling you what you need to know about them.

  • A must for King Crimson fans

The reviewer below stated that they don’t get around to playing the song that is being reviewed. I don’t think the reviewer knows how these things work. They’re not allowed to play the song. To get clearance to play the songs would cost a fortune. This isn’t like a Spotify Original podcast where they already have the license to play the song. more

  • Perspective (and actual music) needed

The banter between the co-hosts is too focused on inside jokes and random observations about KC. Even though each episode allegedly deconstructs KC’s works track by track, the depth of commentary is lacking. And... the co-hosts never get around to playing the song being picked apart! more
