I stumbled on this podcast quite by chance. As a born and bred Veronese and long time Hellas Verona supporter, it was funny and insightful to hear about our performance in Venice in the 21/22 season (by the way, the word we scream on the team announcement on top of every player’s surname is “simia”, which is venetian for “monkey”… quite a popular insult in Verona but decidedly uncommon in the rest of the country).
