  • Probably Australia’s best researched podcast

This pod is just a gem! Well researched, informative, and perfectly delivered. It’s the link to our past that we never knew we needed in Aus. My grandfather passed away in 2020 but I could imagine him listening to this with me and being as enthralled as I am. And he lived through some of these times! 10 out of 10 without a doubt.

  • Vanishing Cousins

Michael shows his versatility when interviewing Melenie Ambrose about the disappearance of Perth cousins in 1974. First class effort from Michael with a perfect mix of facilitating the telling by Melenie of the research she has done with thoughtful contributions from Michael. Very well done.

Secondly, the narrator’s pronunciations of some words are incorrect and annoying since it would only take a few minutes to google the correct pronunciation. Examples: Hawaii is said as Ha Why; Willemshaven is said as William Shaven; Esther is said as Ess Ther. That said, the stories are interesting and thoroughly well resea... more

Your Stories: ‘My Father was Count Copernicus!'
Q: Why do you think he included stripping in his act?
I think it was both for shock value and also because by becoming naked in front of a crowd, he could feel in touch with his intuition and the other side.
