  • Ok podcast

I would listen more but Scott tends to repeat himself. If you hear his talking point in one week, you will hear the same one the same for several weeks after. Long story short you can miss several weeks but not miss the content because it will be the same.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP 42: Latest update on James Pearce, what it means for the Falcons | w/ Garrett Chapman
Q: Do you see James Pearce Jr missing four to six weeks, or the entire year due to the program that he has to go into?
The likelihood of a six-game or longer suspension hinges on the NFL's conduct policy and aggravating factors; the timeline remains uncertain, with a strong chance of some form of league decision affecting his availability, potentially pushing him into training camp depending on how the investigation unfolds.
EP 41: Now that the draft is over, what's next for the Falcons? w/ Garrett Chapman
Q: Halse asks if Alameda Zacchaeus is truly a lock to make the roster.
Garrett confirms Alameda Zacchaeus is very much in the mix but notes the depth of the wide receiver room and the competitive nature of the roster battles, implying Zacchaeus' staying power depends on the rest of the position battles.
EP 41: Now that the draft is over, what's next for the Falcons? w/ Garrett Chapman
Q: Trenton asks about the value of stretching Drake London's extension and how it impacts the rest of the draft picks.
Garrett argues that paying Drake London is priority number one and explains that extensions for other top receivers are likely to follow as market wages rise, with the team needing to balance long-term cap management.
EP 41: Now that the draft is over, what's next for the Falcons? w/ Garrett Chapman
Q: Colin Cobble asks how Kendall Daniels will fit and whether he'll have an immediate role.
Garrett expresses excitement about Kendall Daniels' fit in a Brent Venables/Jeff Ulbrich system and believes he could contribute as a depth piece with the potential to develop into a starter, depending on how the defense evolves and how the rookies adapt.
EP 32: Are the Falcons better today than a month ago? | w/ Garrett Chapman
Q: Are the Falcons better today than they were a month ago after adding depth and new pieces?
Yes, largely due to adding depth across the roster, improving the defense with new players, and bringing in a quarterback competition; however, the absence of key players like James Pierce Jr. and Caden Ellis temper the enthusiasm until on‑field results materialize.
