Sigmund and Cecil are fantastic, but the show needs to be at least an hour.
I’m still giving 4 because I love and admire Sig. But I don’t like the new 9-10 minute short clip model the company is trying to lean into. I became a fan because I want to hear Sig and Matt Waldman go down narrative street for an hour or more on my commute. I can’t get into the new shorter clips. Sadly, I find myself just marking them as played and move on to one of your competitors’ shows. more

For a long time, my favorite podcast in any genre was the weekly recap from Cecil and Sigmund. In recent years, they just don’t seem as interested, especially Cecil. He sometimes brings good analysis but gets sidetracked by saying the same thing too often. Sometimes he seems to just not want to be there. I love Football Guys and have subscribed for many years, but I think maybe there should be more changes to either get Cecil more engaged or add someone like Jeff Bell or Matt Waldman more instea... more
