This is just awful. Sounds like they’ve used an AI reader that has zero ability to correctly accent or pronounce Slovene words. If you’re learning Slovene from these episodes, you’re going to sound ridiculous. They really need to start disclosing the use of artificial readers. I’m a native Slovene looking for tools to help my semi-fluent husband and I find these painful to listen to. Save your time and find something else that isn’t read by a robot.

Thank you so much for this beautiful work. It’s not easy to find ways of learning Slovene and this is helpful and also interesting.

A language-learning show focused on Slovenian, it uses a storytelling format in Slovenian followed by sentence-by-sentence retellings that switch between Slovenian and English. In addition to core listening practice, episodes include vocabulary lists and cultural context to aid comprehension, plus transcripts to help review. The bilingual structure, culture-forward approach, and occasional premium-access promotions suggest a target audience of dedicated language learners and travelers who want practical, immersive exposure to Slovenian and Slovenian-speaking contexts. A standout element is the emphasis on culture and context alongside language mechanics, which may appeal to listeners seeking depth beyond surface phrases.
