I found Setiya’s podcast through his latest book and googling his name. The philosophy discussed in the podcast is accessible even for someone like me who does not formally studies it. I find the discussions open and personal. Kieran had a knack of making philosophy personal in his discussions of it. Often humanizing it through his reflections. Something I find consoling.
It is a pleasure to be in the company of such energetic, sensitive thinkers.
Very much enlightening indeed
Probably the best philosophy podcast around. Top rate philosophers. Great discussion.
Kieran Setiya is a marvelous interviewer. We learn a lot about prominent philosophers that we couldn’t learn elsewhere, much of it philosophical, some of it not so much but still extremely interesting. Setiya is very respectful of his interviewees, keen on probing them when appropriate. He knows how to listen but also how to make them talk. Can’t get enough of it.
