    I am a mental health social worker and everyday I work with complex trauma that exists within the social context of disability. I have found it incredibly difficult for Aboriginal and Torres Stait Islander people to access the NDIS for their psychosocial disability as they do not have the right information or resources readily available to them, or, they experience the shame and stigma, preventing them from accessing early intervention supports.
