  • Trump gargling. Wanted to like this but too skewed.

This could’ve been really good if the commentary stuck to important policy that is currently on the docket. Instead, and rather predictably, it is focused on us (republicans) vs them (democrats) and gargling on Trump current focuses. This is a critique to get better, and cast a wider net of gun right advocates.. Pandering to the current constituents will not grow CRPA

Firing Line Radio 09-13-2025 Rick Travis CRPA
Q: What does the Wounded Warrior or Whelan Sportsmen's Program do for veterans and disabled participants?
The programs offer veterans and people with disabilities access to hunting in accessible venues, often with mentors, to reintegrate them into outdoor life and provide therapeutic connection to nature.
Firing Line Radio 09-13-2025 Rick Travis CRPA
Q: Can you explain the Jakes program and why it's named that?
Jake stands for juniors acquiring knowledge, ethics and sportsmanship; it's a youth program for anyone under 17, with chapters in Reading and San Diego that run spring stations for youth on turkey biology, firearms safety, and archery.
Firing Line Radio 09-13-2025 Rick Travis CRPA
Q: What types of turkeys do we have in California, Krista?
Krista explains that California hosts mainly Miriam's and Rio turkeys, with hybridization across the state leading to a mixed population, complicating breed-specific guarantees but emphasizing the regional variation.
Firing Line Radio Show 11-01-25 Part 01
Q: And if you could start off there, explain that. Some people don't think Rick's making wild accusations at the tailgate. That would be great.
I'm happy to explain: the goal is to discuss specific bills, their intended public-safety and hunting heritage benefits, and the real-world incidents that motivated them, like incidents with bears and mountain lions, while acknowledging environmental concerns and the political process surrounding them.
Firing Line Radio Show 10-04-25
Q: Why is Catalina Island's deer population significant biologically and socially?
The Catalina deer herd is disease-free for now, relatively isolated, and serves as a biological and social case study for how an island ecosystem can support a large herbivore while balancing conservation concerns with human impact.
