On the positive side: many of the guests are outstanding. They contribute a level of insight that is amazing.
Unfortunately, most episodes are edited into an incoherent braindump. Sometimes I wonder if the file is corrupted or my app has a bug and it is just randomly jumping between sections: there is no discernible dialog or story. In some episodes, you only hear one side of a phone call. I accept it as there is no alternative FCP podcast but the density of useful information is low.
Thank you Richard for a funny, informative podcast. Like the Grill you have helped me in learning new little bits, taking tips and making me the editor I want to become.
lots of rambling, little bit too much on the Fanboy side, could be a lot nicer if the long intro stuff was left out, as much as it hurts me to say it but it often feels like the host has no(t too much of an) idea what he’s talking about
Richard is great about getting episodes out fast when big things are happening. It's definitely FCPX and Apple product line focused, but relevent to all editors and all NLEs, I think. Great guests and deep dives into everything post -- software and hardware. I've been listening since the beginning and I'm always looking forward to the next episode.
Great production, great questions, great guests.
