Filthy Henry is Dublin's first and foremost fairy detective. Something of a niche job, since most people do not know that fairies are even real. Let alone need a detective. But when troublesome fairies look to make things awkward for mortals there is one man tasked with stopping the magical meddlers. The only problem is, Filthy Henry hates everybody indiscriminately and would much rather be left a... more

Great podcast, just luv it, well done!!!!!!
One of my favourite podcasts, warm, funny, great stories, superbly narrated and also it was educational for me about Irish / Celtic mythology.
one of the best!
A hard-boiled detective (who is half human, half faerie) gets spun out onto some of the weirdest and most entertaining noir adventures I've ever heard. The deep well of Irish folklore mixes with present day reality, yielding an extraordinary sequence of 'wait, uh... WHAAAAAAT??' moments. Memorable characters, clever storyline, outstanding Irish narrator who actually has somewhat of a grasp of Gaeilge pronunciations- with a few really infuriating lapses. I went from merely curious and ready to be... more

Fabulous for relaxing to before sleep!
Imaginative and amusing. Found myself looking on Google maps of Dublin to see where the action took place!
Creatively written & expertly read.
I chanced upon Filthy Henry by accident and what a find. A great, magical and mystical story set in Dublin. I love how the author weaves places in Dublin into the story which make it feel a little personal - especially if you actually have been to those places. Looking forward to reading the next three books.
Plenty of inventive stuff in here to keep you listening. It's very well produced and the music is great and atmospheric. It reminds me of Harry Potter.
An outstanding adventure to lose yourself in. A must listen to podcast!
