This is an excellent regularly released pod for film photography nerds. Lots of good information. Not every episode is spectacular but most are very good and you will learn something. They have a quirky take on sound effects and music that takes a couple of episodes to get used to.

Film Photography Podcast 382 - Making Music with Michael Raso
Q: Is there a live performance plan for these tracks?
Not in a traditional sense; the album is largely studio-based and edited, with some orchestration ideas explored as potential future live arrangements, requiring collaborators for programming.
Film Photography Podcast 382 - Making Music with Michael Raso
Q: Why synth specifically for this project?
The choice grew from a storytelling impulse and a short, pocket-sized keyboard purchase, which aligned with the envisioned sci-fi narrative and allowed him to craft a cohesive, space-themed sonic world.
Film Photography Podcast 379 - Shooting & Developing Movie Film!
Q: Digital films trying to look like film, Smash or Pass?
Pass; there is a strong preference for genuine film stock and real motion picture stock rather than trying to fake the look in post.
Film Photography Podcast 379 - Shooting & Developing Movie Film!
Q: Should you project home movie film to view it, Smash or Pass?
Smash; projecting at home is a fun, historical activity, though it needs careful handling of equipment and film to avoid damage.
Film Photography Podcast 379 - Shooting & Developing Movie Film!
Q: Double Super 8 stock, Smash or Pass?
Pass due to limited accessibility and market saturation in the US, with Kodak having pushed Regular 8 and Super 8 instead of Double Super 8.
