Fairly well researched, mostly informative look at issues with the US justice system using NC forensics (sbi) as an example of its brokenness. These hosts have come up with a winning approach to true-crime podcasting -- a playful, conversational, relaxed vibe, combined with a VERY serious and meticulously researched deep dive into a major problem with the criminal justice system. Very listenable, highly entertaining, and intensely gripping and informative all at the same time.
This podcast is incredibly informative and infuriating all at once. The hosts do a great job of walking you through the complex cases and issues while also providing plenty of moments of levity as you seethe over the injustice. Beautifully done!
The amount of research done for this podcast is insane, and incredibly impressive. It’s depressing, infuriating, and unbelievable all while also being hilarious. If you like cats, rosé, and true crime you will love this. And Priya’s laugh is the best.
As a HUGE fan of The Staircase, I was really curious about this podcast. It definitely started off a little shaky, and I wasn't going to keep listening after the first episode, but my friend who recommended it told me to keep going and I'm actually glad I did. They really hit their groove around the third episode and it just gets better.
