  • Prepare to be charmed

A lovely collection of stories about fascinating humans. Every person has a story and this guy will bring it to you with humor & charm. I am a longtime listener and I tend to “fall in love” with the guests! Jeremy Swift, I am talking about you! The host, Steve, is a sweetheart, and always brings the best out of his guests. He’s the next Terry Gross & truly worthy of a subscribe & download.

  • Super Dope!

Every episode is uniquely different and it keeps you coming back to see/listen to who Steve is interviewing. The guest list ranges from top celeberties to everyday folks with a story to tell. This is where Steve's knack for getting the guest to open up about their lives, history and what inspires them comes out. Everytime I listen, I feel as if I am sitting at the table with the guest and Steve and a bottle of something that gets us all to loosen up, relax and spill our guts.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Throwback: Mario Andretti - Driver Of The Century (F-1, Nascar / IndyCar)
Q: How did your relationships with Ferrari and Newman influence your racing and post-racing ventures?
My direct relationship with Enzo Ferrari created pivotal opportunities to race for Ferrari and later collaborate with Paul Newman through Carl Haas, which led to a long, influential partnership and shaped my broader involvement in racing and business ventures after retirement.
Throwback: Mario Andretti - Driver Of The Century (F-1, Nascar / IndyCar)
Q: What were the key tradeoffs you faced when deciding between pursuing Formula One earlier versus building a career in the United States?
The financial realities and safety concerns of racing in that era made staying in the United States financially sensible, as top-level NASCAR/IndyCar offered more stable earnings and opportunities to win championships, which ultimately shaped the timing of my full-time move to Formula One later in my career.
Throwback: Mario Andretti - Driver Of The Century (F-1, Nascar / IndyCar)
Q: Tell us about where you were born and how your early environment shaped your path into racing.
I was born in Italy in 1940 near the Istrian region and moved to America with my family when I was a teenager. The Italian racing culture, especially with Ferrari and Maserati, planted a strong fascination that stayed with me as I transitioned to American racing, where opportunities began to emerge.
Throwback: Damon Wimbley (A.K.A. Kool Rock-Ski) Rap Icon (The Fat Boys)
Q: Tell us about the Studio 54 hangout and how that era felt for you as young artists?
They recount Studio 54 experiences as very young celebrities, the vibe of backstage access and famous personalities, and how it underscored the culture clash between new rap stars and established nightlife.
Throwback: Damon Wimbley (A.K.A. Kool Rock-Ski) Rap Icon (The Fat Boys)
Q: What was it like to be part of the first wave of hip-hop's mainstream acceptance and the industry's push to market rappers?
They discuss the shift after major acts like Sugarhill Gang and Run-DMC, the role of film and touring in expanding rap, and how Fat Boys helped shape marketing approaches during the second wave of rap.
