  • Strangers on a Train

Thanks to the young aspiring screen critic I met on a train for suggesting Fade to Black when I said I missed The Film programme and was tired of the same voices like Mark Kermode and was looking for some different perspectives and couldn’t find anything. Sometimes the sound quality could be better but it really doesn’t stop me from listening and enjoying this unique show. It’s got me into the cinema more too. Thank you!

  • The socially conscious film-review podcast I’ve been looking for

Was looking for something new after going off Mayo and Kermode a bit. This was the perfect antidote. I enjoy the relaxed vibe and like to hear the opinions of multiple people. The critical discussion of the film industry as well as the reviews themselves are a welcome addition.

  • Fab new film pod

Fun movie/TV chats and quality criticism in one. Hanna Flint, Clarisse Loughrey, and Amon Warmann are a great team, and I appreciate how they give time to things, such as costume design, that many others don’t comment upon.
