  • Wow!

This was wonderful. I’m a convert to the Catholic Church and I think these men are going to bring so many people back to the Catholic Church, even though they’re not Catholic. After reading the Bible through 65 times, I had to become a Catholic. I had a Baptist preacher father and things never seemed right when we discussed theology. These podcasts are wonderful.

Third, we investigated our beliefs and practices for almost 3 years before making a move and I was finishing a PhD in Canonicity studying the first 300 years of the church. Fourth, our podcast isn’t about Anglican practices, if Mr Temple pastor listened to any of our episodes he would know that. We are ... more

The Cadaver Synod: When a Dead Pope Stood Trial
Q: What is the difference with the councils declaring heretics that are deceased?
Doctrines can be condemned, but bringing a dead corpse to trial is what's condemned by Theodore II.
Where Should I Begin My Study of Church History?
Q: If you wanted to learn church history for the first time, where would you begin?
Stephen suggests beginning with Eusebius' Ecclesiastical History.
Planet Narnia: An Interview with Dr. Michael Ward
Q: When you looked at this from your perspective and you're studying these things, do you believe that Lewis intentionally wanted to keep this under the radar where people would almost not figure it out?
Yes, it was absolutely intentional. He embedded these qualities and attributes of the Seven Heavens into the whole story without making them obvious.
Planet Narnia: An Interview with Dr. Michael Ward
Q: Was there like a particular moment that led you to say, I'm going to write a book because I see these dots connected and I think it needs to be heard?
Yes, it was the realization that Narnia and the heavens are connected, which became clear to me halfway through my doctoral research.
Is There An Error In Mark 2:26?
Q: How do the interpretations affect the reliability of the Gospels?
Interpreters must consider the historical context and prevailing assumptions about the text before casting it aside as erroneous, hence maintaining the reliability of the Gospels.
