I never write podcast reviews but just listened to the Amanda Litman ep and wow. Jennifer is a great interviewer who asks the right questions and connects with her guest. The topic and conversation were smart, funny, and timely. Can’t wait to listen to the backlog.
It was great to listen to the EIF podcast but it is such a great surprise to be able to hear Jen on her own show at this moment. Please keep going!
I eagerly look forward to this episode each week. Stimulates yet soothes my middle aged lady brain! It’s like Jen has a portal into the marbles that rattle around my ADHD mind all of the time to help me sort it all out and puts in new, interesting ideas. Major bonus points for having on Samantha Irby who is also a fave. A worthy successor to Everything is Fine — as much as I love good banter, I really appreciate the interviews with cool people. Good extension of the themes from Ambition Monster.... more
The conversations Jenn fosters around career satisfaction and money and creativity are so deep and nuanced and smart. They’re the perfect antidote to the nonstop onslaught of hustle culture. Highly recommend if you want different perspectives on why we work and how we find fulfillment
that’s personally meaningful, not what we’re expected to (even by people who want the best for us).
Found and binged today, love the insight and wisdom as well as the relatability in every interview.
I don’t think the description does this show justice, if any of the people involved resonate with you, you will adore this podcast.
