I used to really love this podcast but since 2026 👎🏼. Grandma is
great but Kim tanked.
The episode dated February 12th, Kim said “ I feel like” seven times in a 15 minute episode.
Two episodes before that one she said it seven times and I turned the episode off.
Most recently, on February 26th she said it eight times in 10 minutes! It was her 30th birthday so maybe she was trying to say it 30 times!!!
Such a shame because Kim boasts about her BA in English from Cornell. Listening... more
I love this podcast- I would like an “Ask Kim” segment too
I love grandma Gail and her advice! Listening to her reminds me of my grandma - traditional, practical, and fun.
EMG is overwhelmingly a breath of fresh air, but you really crossed a horrible line in the last episode and need to make a public apology.
Kim said “it shouldn’t be confusing: if you think you’re being abused, you are.” Kim, this is judgmental, condescending, offensive and naive. It is a crippling blindspot that exacerbates the victim’s abilit... more
I discovered Excuse My Grandma a few months ago. Definitely one of my favorites!! I absolutely love hearing viewpoints and life experiences from two different perspectives. I live in the south, but frequently visit NYC, so I completely appreciate all the content. My favorite thing about the show is the healthy communication between two family members (who adore each other) and sometimes see life differently. Keep up the good work!
