This guy is a fantastic person and ambassador for heavy music. Well done sir and from not being in the scene for over ten years? I’m catching up fast with this show

  • Worth a listen if you’re metal attuned!

The work put into this podcast is highly visible just by listening to one episode. I highly appreciate the effort put in to link Aussies to overseas artists, the promotion of gigs/bands within Australia & the honesty/humour is also quite enjoyable. Bonus points for men discussing how they feel publicly about their art to share with others. Would love to see more female artists interviewed! Keen to hear more 🤘

  • Not a podcast

Is this a radio show? Yes.

This isn’t a podcast and shouldn’t be called one. The questions are not insightful or interesting (podcasts are these things). The questions are the boring, same same that every single press/magazine/radio asks.

Don’t waste your time with this mind numbing, waste of a show.

Please stop making this pointless show.

  • THIS GUY REALLY KNOWS HIS METAL!!!

METAL FANS, THIS IS OUR GUY!!! Just when I thought we'd never get another Andrew Haug or Costa Zouliou, Nev comes along! This dude knows his stuff! It's good to finally hear an interviewer with the knowledge and love of the genre that's currently missing from most metal radio shows and podcasts. THIS BLOKE CLEARLY WALKS THE WALK!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

CRADLE OF FILTH: Dani Filth talks Co-Headlining with DevilDriver, Next Album & Horror
Q: What are your thoughts on pushing your vocal abilities per album?
I focus on what the material requires, sometimes collaborating on ranges or duets to fit the new material, and ensuring the performance remains true to the songs rather than chasing sheer speed.
CRADLE OF FILTH: Dani Filth talks Co-Headlining with DevilDriver, Next Album & Horror
Q: How does a Cradle DevilDriver co-headline show work compared to a standalone Cradle show?
It's generally closing the night with Dez in a strong, shared headlining dynamic; we maintain a flow that keeps the show cohesive while allowing each band their moments, with consistent production and set pacing.
NOTHING: Domenic “Nicky” Palermo Talks New Album The Short History of Decay
Q: Would you do another collaboration with Full of Hell?
Yeah, I would do it for sure, but I need to have the time to put myself into those shoes again.
NOTHING: Domenic “Nicky” Palermo Talks New Album The Short History of Decay
Q: Was there anything that you were trying to work through that didn't make it onto the album?
No, I laid it all out there and wanted to present myself genuinely while advancing artistically.
MUNT: Tim “Mothlord” Richmond talks The World Is Not Yours
Q: What does 2026 have in store for you and the boys?
After their upcoming tour, the band plans to assess new opportunities and focus on what comes next for Munt.
