I am male and have a large beard. This podcast has led me to having a better beard from all of the stroking. If I didn't have a beard, I would be stroking my chin instead. Great podcast but I wonder if I am being infected with postmodernism and destroying my neoplatonic thought.
I love listening to this podcast because it challenges me with deep concepts and gets me to think beyond the face value of a movie. This, in turn, has helped me to examine my own ideologies and move beyond the noise of pop culture responses to a more thoughtful and nuanced approach to understanding.
Thanks for the pod! Always enjoy listening to it. I like your psycho-analytical take on things. Maybe add a limiter in post but it’s great either way.
I like how Adrian and Helen use movies as a catalyst for conversations on psychoanalysis and capitalism. I find myself extremely interested in each episode and it often feels like I’m in the same room with them. Not many podcasts can say that. Bravo and well done.
This podcast delivers insightful conversations around films and philosophy. Great hosts and a dynamic listen!
