  • Radio broadcasted as video

For some stupid reason they send a radio podcast as a video. Totally waste of bandwidth, battery on the phone, and not user friendly.

The podcast forces you to stream and watch since video doesn’t stream when doing other things.

AI Governance, new book (Code War) from Allie Mellen, and the weekly news! - Jeremy Snyder, Allie Mellen - ESW #450
Q: What possessed you to torture yourself with a book project?
Allie explains the motivation behind Code War: to connect geopolitical history with cybersecurity trends in a way that is accessible to non-technical readers, showing how cyber attacks fit into a larger geopolitical puzzle and emphasizing the importance of understanding the broader context for effective defense.
Breaking in with CrashFix, supply chain security, and CMMC phase 1 - David Zendzian, Anna Pham, Jacob Horne - ESW #449
Q: And David, I want us to clarify before we start: what is your definition of supply chain risk for security conversations?
Supply chain risk is the risk introduced by every layer that builds, ships, and runs software, including where code comes from, how it's built, and what it connects to; it's not just hardware or software, but the entire ecosystem of dependencies and inheritances that affect security posture.
OT Security/business resilience, lack of incentives for securing software & the news - Ben Worthy - ESW #448
Q: Ben, are you saying we should do fundamental things like inventories and prioritization, classification of data?
Yes, foundational data governance and asset criticality are essential; without knowing what you have and what matters most, preventing and recovering from incidents becomes far more difficult.
Hardware-level zero trust, don't trust AI with your employees, and the news - J Wolfgang Goerlich, Matias Katz - ESW #446
Q: What are the implications of deploying AI in corporate environments?
Wolfgang discussed the risks of using AI, such as the potential for AI to negatively influence human decision-making and the importance of protecting users from being manipulated by AI systems.
