I have fond memories of spending very brief moments of time at Gretham. My truest connection is with Ellis Potter. I have found many of these lectures extremely potent and often remedies to the current and very strange cultural climate. Thank you ever so much for the production team for putting these up here.
I’m sure it’s very difficult, but is there any way in increasing the volume of the questions in the Q&A or for future for people to have a mic?
I don’t know what I would do without L’Abri. I wish I could live in this community, but the next best thing is to be able to listen to this wealth of ideas on the podcast. They remind me of all that is good and beautiful and true, the old stories and fairy tales and poetry that our culture so desperately needs. The modern American church would benefit so much from emulating their model of Christian fellowship and discipleship and their care of the life of the mind.
These podcasts offer such balanced non-imposing views on the nature of reality and have fed my hunger for meaning since I started listening to L’abri lectures a few years ago.
A rich array of talks engaging the many faculties of reality and human experience, ordered by a considerate Christian worldview.
Compelling thoughts whether or not one identifies with the faith. A great catalyst for discussion with friends or personal growth.
In short, L’Abri’s resources have been nothing less than life-changing for me.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this wonderful work!

Across recent episodes, the talks span hospitality, social justice, theology, art, and the intersection of faith with everyday life. Themes frequently return to how Christian ideas translate into real-world actions—choosing relational over transactional engagement, addressing global inequality, and integrating intellect with spiritual practice. Several lectures also explore creativity in service of truth and beauty, from scriptural interpretation to art and music, all anchored in a community-centered approach that emphasizes care, dialogue, and lived belief. A notable throughline is the emphasis on hospitality, community support, and practical stewardship as core expressions of faith.
