  • Great, informative podcast for Earthdawn

I started late, and I’m going in order, so I’m only through about the first 50 podcast episodes. That said., The hosts, especially Josh, are very knowledgable and it’s always an entertaining and educating listen.

EDSG Episode 268 - Year-End Wrap-up
Q: Do you think that intelligence of the physical species would be a possible line to draw?
Intelligence and charisma could be factors for shamans to draw lines on which spirits to associate with, depending on the usefulness of the spirits.
EDSG Episode 268 - Year-End Wrap-up
Q: Does this mean that, like with anything else in Earthdawn, shamans are not a monolith that some will at least use, if not commune with at least certain invertebrate spirits?
The acceptance of invertebrate spirits can vary from shaman to shaman, and not all shamans share the same beliefs regarding what spirits they will associate with.
EDSG Episode 260 - Mailbag!
Q: Will FASA be producing sourcebooks on other parts of the world like Kryana or Talia?
Currently, only a Kryana book is in development, and expansion on other regions depends on team interest and willingness to lead projects.
EDSG Episode 260 - Mailbag!
Q: Why did the Immortal Elves not possess all the information about the earlier scourge?
The hosts discuss that while the Immortal Elves might know about the earlier scourge, they tend to be secretive and protective of their knowledge, which might suggest the authenticity of the Books of Harrow is questionable.
EDSG Episode 260 - Mailbag!
Q: How would space travelers use magic to travel to Earth?
The hosts express confusion about the nature of the question, noting that space travel doesn't fit within the genre of Earthdawn's lore and magic as it's currently defined.
